Dr. Bruce Baker
Founder
The predominant emphasis of Dr. Baker’s ministry was the forthright presentation of the Bible as God's Word. Like Ezra of old, his life was built around the study, practice, and teaching of Scripture.
Bruce taught in over six different countries on four continents. Starting in 2008, he concentrated his efforts in central Africa. Yeye anaongea swahiili kidogo, lakini si vizuri sana. (translation: He spoke a little swahili, but not very well).
Due to an extended fight with ALS, Bruce was unable to continue traveling to central Africa in 2015. However, he continued to be actively involved in sending others and supporting the local African church until he was called home to glory in 2022.
Pastor Jacob Baker
Executive Director
When Dr. Bruce Baker was no longer able to travel to Africa, Pastor Jacob accepted the call to step in. He is a Youth Pastor, husband, father of five, and became the primary teacher and trip leader in 2016. In 2022, Pastor Jacob took on the role of Executive Director.
Elizabeth Roberson
Online Coordinator
When not staying home with her husband and two boys, Elizabeth can usually be found behind a camera. She has travelled to Burundi and Democratic Republic of Congo on multiple occasions, and always leaves a little bit of her heart behind each trip.
Bonnie Baker
Office Manager
After having joined her husband in traveling throughout the world, Bonnie now focuses her time on managing the logistics of sending other missionaries to central Africa. Bonnie is the office administrator, accountant, and go to person for all things practical.
Bishop Floribert Kazingufu
President of REMIC
After the Great African War, when all of the missionaries left Africa, Pastor Flory organized churches across 5 countries to help them work together. Since then, he has overseen the building and planting of churches across the central African region. Along with his wife Amina, he has 3 beautiful children and many who call him Baba.
